Anurag Kashyap is a writer, director working in the Hindi Film industry. At present he can boast of a career of growth and prosperity in the Indian film Industry. Well, no person sees the light of prosperity without facing the darkness that lurks in the streets ready to swallow the dreams and aspirations of people, and he is no different. He has his share of bad days, days nobody would want to endure, if they wouldn't have a strong dream to nurture. He is among the few cult directors working in Bollywood who are responsible for changing the typical ways films are being made. In the recent times, with the line of films that he has directed, he is being regarded as the most promising directors.

As his marriage matching was fixed with Kalki Koechlin, he tied the knot with her, after having a brief affair after his separation from first wife. He is said to be a righteous person in personal life. He initiates and tries in giving the new comers a chance to star in movies and make a niche for themselves if they have the caliber.

Anurag Kashyap aimed at being a scientist and that made him take up Zoology at Hansraj College, under Delhi university.
