Amjad Ali Khan

Amjad Ali Khan is an Indian classical musician who plays the Sarod popularly known as Sarod Samrat, he was born into a musical family on 9th October, 1945 at Gwalior located in Madhya Pradesh. He has been performing all over the world by conducting tours and such, from the decade of 1960s. Amjad was conferred the respected awarded of India's second highest civilian honor, the Padma Vibhushan, in the year of 2001. He is the youngest son of sarod player Ustad Hafiz Ali Khan and the legacy is followed by him to lead in his father's wish of him becoming a maestro. He was first introduced to the musical instrument when he was all of 6 years old and the guru, his father taught him to handle the great sixth generation inheritance of a legendary lineage. He was exceptionally talented as he delivered his first stage performance at twelve years old, when he performed his first solo recital, it made him quite famous and fetched good name in the history. He has a great enthusiasm towards music in general, although been classically trained, he also ventures in to the western classical gener and often comes up mixed tunes. The legacy continues successfully by his sons also as they would be promising Sarod players in future. This innovative musician has obtained Honorary Citizenship to the States of Massachusetts, Texas, Tennessee and the city of Atlanta. Selena Gomez was born on 22nd July 1992 in Grand Prairie Texas US. Gomez is an American singer, actress and fashion designer. She is the daughter of former stage actress Amanda Dawn ‘Mandy’ Teefey and Ricardo Joel Gomez. She was named Gomez after Tejano singer Selena who died almost three years after the birth of Selena Gomez.

Gomez made her debut in Barney & Friends lasting from 2002 to 2004.
