After completing his education, his father launched him in a lead role in Love Story (1981) opposite Vijayata Pandit, the sister of Bollywood actress, Sulakshana Pandit. He did appear in Naam (1986) and Kantee (2002) but was overshadowed by his brother-in-law, Sanjay Dutt, and other Bollywood mega-stars. His father passed away on July 12, 1999. Kumar, who has since then appeared in a Hollywood movie Guiana 1838 (2004) has two other movies listed for release during the year 2009. After ensuring his daughters' marriages, he would prefer spending his spare time fishing with a kerosene-lit lantern. Kumar Gaurav is presently living in Bombay with his family and owns a production house that makes music videos. He also owns another business for tourism.

The former Indian cricketer Sunil Manohar Gavaskar, popularly known as Sunil Gavaskar is celebrating his 64th birthday. Also titled as 'The Little Master', he is known as one of the greatest opening batsmen in the history of world cricket. Sunil Gavaskar was born on 10 July 1949 in Bombay to a Goud Saraswat Brahmin family. From the school itself, he started playing cricket and received the title of India's Best Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year in 1966. His debut in Ranji Trophy occurred in 1968/69 against Karnataka and next against Rajasthan, where he scored 114 runs and made three consecutive centuries in the tournament.

The Little Master played his last test match in 1987 against Pakistan, scoring 21 and 96 runs in 1st and 2nd innings, respectively. His last ODI match was against England in the same year where he made just 4 runs. But his overall performance in Cricket was immensely impressive with a total of 125 Test matches scoring 10122 runs including 32 centuries and 45 half centuries. He played total 108 ODI matches scoring 3092 runs including 1 century and 27 half centuries. His highest score in Test matches is 236 and in ODIs it is 103 runs. Besides, earning a good name and rapport in the world of Cricket, he was also bestowed with various awards and honors like Padma Bhushan and as the honorary Sheriff of Mumbai in 1994.

Raghubir Yadav is a two-time international award winner Indian stage, film and television actor, music composer, singer and set designer. Shekhar Kapoor is an ace film director and producer from India. According to his birth chart, he was born on 6th December 1945 to Kulbhushan Kapoor, a doctor and Sheel Kanta, a journalist and stage actress.
