Salman khan celebrates his birthday today





The macho hunk of Hindi film industry, Salman khan, turns 47 today and celebrating his birthday amidst his family, close friends and people from the entertainment world.  According to his birth chart, He was born on December 27, 1965 to the scriptwriter Salim Khan and Salma Khan. He is their eldest son and his brothers are Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan and sisters, Alvira and Arpita Khan. His step mother is Helen, the famous actress and dancer in the yesteryears. The Bad boy of Bollywood – as he is commonly known, has worked in over eighty Hindi films and he is one on the top film actors in the industry today. Salman Khan made his debut with the film Biwi Ho to Aisi in 1988. His next film, Maine Pyar Kiya, made him a star and won him the Filmfare Award for Best Make Debut and nomination for the Filmfare Best Actor award. His other successes followed with films Patthar Ke Phool, Sanam Bewafaa and Saajan. In 1994, Salman Khan worked in one of the biggest hit films of that year, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. This movie received five filmfare awards and for its huge popularity, it even won the National Award. For the first time, he worked along with Shahrukh Khan in the hit film, Karan Arjun in 1995. Although, he faced failure with the film Khamoshi: The Musical, he again climbed the success track by working in films like Judwaa, Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya and Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai.

According to his career report, Salman did cameo and received Filmfare Best Supporting Actor award for Kuch Kuch Hota Hain, which was a successful movie. The year 1999 was lucky for him as he appeared in three biggest hits, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Biwi No.1 and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The audience witnessed some of his terrific performances in the movies like Tere Naam, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Salaam E Ishq, Partner, Wanted, and London Dreams etc. The year 2010 gave him the most success through the film Dabangg. It was an all time blockbuster and highest grosser at the box office. The movie won many awards that include six filmfare awards, seven Screen Awards, ten IIFA awards, nine Zee Cine Awards and National Award for being the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. After that, he gave back to back hits with Ready, Bodyguard, and Ek Tha Tiger. Dabangg 2 is the sequel of Dabangg, released in 2012 and received good openings. It is one of the biggest openers that entered the 100 crore club within 6 days of its release. The actor runs an NGO named Being Human also endorses several brands like wheel, Yatra.Com, Thums Up, Suzuki motorcyles and others. As the actor celebrates his birthday today, the horoscope predicts a highly productive year ahead but also includes some failures and issues related to health. Anil Kapoor celebrate his birhday on 24th December.
