The much talked about actress in the recent times, Sherlyn Chopra, celebrates her Birthday today and she turns 29 this year. According to her birth chart, She was originally named as Mona Chopra but later she changed it to Sherlyn Chopra. She was born on February 11 1984 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Her father is a Christian and mother Muslim. She did her schooling from Stanleys Girls High School and graduation from Saint Ann's College for Women in Secunderabad. She had an interest in modelling and during her college, she participated in local beauty pageant named, Miss Andhra and won the contest. The Career of Sherlyn Chopra started with minor roles in some B-grade Bollywood movies such as Time Pass, Red Swastik and Game etc. She also acted in few Telugu films like Vendi Mabbulu (2002), A Film by Aravind (2005), and Something Special (2006).

She also did a special appearance in a Tamil film titled, University and an English film, Beeper in 2002. But she has received more offers to work in Hindi films than in regional language films. In 2009, Sherlyn Chopra also became a contestant in the famous Television show, Bigg Boss (Season 3) but got evicted from the show on the 27th day. Sherlyn is also a singer, who in 2007, has released her own music album titled, Outrageous – End of The Beginning. This album has six tracks which were composed and written by Sherlyn herself. She released her next album in 2009 which was named, Dard-e-Sherlyn.

During the last days of his life he suffered from a Cerebral haemorrhage and was in coma for more than 2 weeks and finally died on October 10,2011 at Lilavati Hospital.

The Aquarian Indian film actor, Jackie Shroff celebrates his birthday today.
