Randheer Kapoor comes from the legendary family of Bollywood – The Kapoors. He is the fourth generation Kapoor and the eldest son of Raj Kapoor. Ramesh Sippy is an Indian film director of the yesteryears and he has also produced some of the films of present times. His next film, Shann, which came in 1980, was also a hit and was made inspired by the James Bond films. Then, he brought the two superstars of Bollywood Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan together in the film Shakti and that received the Filmfare Best Movie Award. Under his direction, actress Dimple Kapadia made her comeback with the film Saagar.

In 1987, Ramesh Sippy also directed a television serial Buniyaad, which was aired on Doordarshan channel. But he directed three films Bhrashtachar, Akayla and Zamana Deewana in 1989, 1991 and 1995 respectively. All the three were unsuccessful and since then, he stopped directing films.
