Sindhu Menon

Sindhu Menon is a pretty cute and glamorous actress who is a famous Indian actress in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam Film industry. She celebrates her 28th Birthday. She was born on 17 June, 1985 in Bangalore and she was brought up in her birthplace itself. Her younger brother is Karthik, who worked as a VJ in Kannada music channel and then he turned as an actor. In the recent times, it's good to see that Sindhu is able to communicate fluently in various languages. Sindhu Menon has started her career in the film industry since 1994. She is a trained in Bharatanatyam dance from her childhood. She performed in a Bharatanatyam competition and was the winner. In the competition, one of the judges Bhasker Hegde introduced her to Kannada film director K. V. Jayaram, who casted her in his film 'Rashmi' in 1994 and there started her career.

She received several offers but Sindhu preferred to give importance to roles which would make her enduring in the hearts of the audiences. She performed the female lead role character in the 1999 film named Prema Prema Prema when she was just 13 years old. And then, at the age of 15, she entered the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries, where she got recognized more by acting in the movies Uthaman, Bhadrachalam and Samuthiram respectively. She was awarded for the movie Pulijanmam, which was awarded for the National Film Award For Best Feature Film held in 2007. In the mean time she also acted in the films Kadal Pookkal, Trinetram in 2002 and Kushi in 2003. Following these successive roles, Sindhu Menon moved to the small screen and hosted in TV shows and serials named as Sriman Srimathi and Stree Hrudyam.

Sindhu Menon became miss world 4 years back and presently Menon is working in the Malayalam films, Rahasya Police and Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonnu. The best performance of her is shown in the Tamil film named Eeram, which was directed by famous Tamil director S. Shankar. Coming to her personal life, Menon was married in April, 2010 to a UK based Christian IT professional, Dominic Prabhu.
