Arjun Rampal

Arjun Rampal is one of the most handsome hunks, that Hindi film industry has today. He is a popular actor in Bollywood movie but basically, a well known name in modelling and fashion world. Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh is his birth place. He was born on November 26, 1972 and his zodiac sign is Sagittarius. His father was a Sikh and mother, an Indo-Dutch. During his college days in Hindu Degree College, he got the opportunity to make career in modelling with the help of designer Rohit Bal.

Arjun Rampal achieved good success in this field and became an international supermodel. His next move was to take up career in acting but this journey from supermodel to actor in Bollywood was not easy for him. He took up acting classes and got a break with the film Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat in 2001 but that didn't worked well. Later, he tried his luck as a producer in 2006 with the movie I See You but he failed again. Then, Arjun's career started taking a positive turn with the film Don and he also got a role in the hit film, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. From then, Arjun became a part of Shahrukh Khan's camp and that helped him with full fledged negative role in SRK's hit film OM Shanti Om (2007). For this performance, he has received Zee Cine's Best Actor in a Negative Role. The same year, he also endorsed Tommy Hilfiger and after two years, he appeared in Schweppes commercial that also had the famous Hollywood actress, Nicole Kidman. After this, there was back to back success for Arjun Rampal and his awesome work in Rock On (2008), gained him the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor and that is follwed by Filmfare, Screen and IIFA awards for the same.

His career remained stable in 2010 with movies like Housefull and multi-starrer movie Raajneeti. Coming to his personal life, Arjun Rampal is happily married to wife Mehr, who was also a supermodel and former Miss India. The couple's family is complete with two beautiful daughters named Mahikaa and Myra.
