In both languages, the movie was a super hit and this encouraged Gautham Menon to remake it in Hindi. The film opened with mixed to negative reviews however, Prateik's performance received appreciation. But this movie, brought him very close to the lead actress Amy Jackson and they reportedly are in love relationship. However, Prateik's career is presently going on a right path.
