Ananya Khare

Ananya Khare is a talented actress, who is celebrating her Birthday today. She was born on March 16 1968 as Preeti Khare in a Hindu Kayastha family in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. Vishnu Khare is her father and he is a well known poet, journalist and lecturer. She has a brother named, Apratim Khare, a debutante director who assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Devdas and is planning to make a film and mark the debut of Kush Sinha, who is the son of Shatrughan Sinha. Ananya did her schooling at Holy Child Auxilium School in New Delhi. Later, she joined and studied in Jawaharlal Nehru University and received Master's degree in German Literature. Since her early days, she was very interested in acting and wanted to become an actress.

She is familiar with ten languages. Ananya Khare worked in several Bollywood movies in supporting roles. But before her entry into the film industry, she worked in television serials for nearly two decades. The various TV serials in which she worked include even the 1987's Nirmala, serials like Ye Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti, O Mariya, Mahayagya and Aahat on Sony Entertainment Television in 90's and at the moment, she is working in a serial titled, Punar Vivah that in aired on Zee TV and she portrays the role of Maya Bua.
