Rani Mukherjee

Rani Mukherjee is one of the most talented actresses of Bollywood and today, she celebrates her 35th Birthday. She was born on March 21 1978 in a film-oriented Bengali family, where her father Ram Mukherjee was a former director and mother Krishna Mukherjee, a former playback singer, brother Raja Mukherjee, film producer and director and is relative to Bengali actress, Debashree Roy, Kajol and Ayan Mukherjee. According to her life report, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat was her debut film, which was a failure. Then she starred in Ghulam opposite Aamir Khan and that is followed by Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which made her a star.

Unfortunately, her next two films Mehndi and Hello Brother failed at box office but she again got success with Badal. Rani Mukherjee, then received some good offers and her films during 2000, include Bichhoo, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Nayak and Hey Ram, which was even selected as India's official entry to Oscars. Rani then collaborated with Yash Raj Films with the movie Mujhse Dosti Karoge after which, she grabbed opportunities to work in some successful films that became turning point in her career such as Saathiya, Chalte Chalte, Yuva, Hum Tum, Veer-Zaara, Bunty Aur Babli, Paheli, Black, Mangal Pandey, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Dil Bole Hadippa, No One Killed Jessica, Aiyyaa and the recent Talaash: The Answer Lie Within.

The film, Bombay Talkies of this Celebrity is stated to release this year and she is doing guest appearance in Chennai Express and lending her voice for Koochie Koochie Hota Hai. Rani also appeared on small screen as a judge on the relaity show, Dance Premier League on Sony Entertainment Television. To promote her film, No One Killed Jessica she even reprised her role in an episode on the TV series C.I.D. Rani did several stage performances and concerts in India as well as other countries during the world tours. Her recent concert of 2012 was Temptations Reloaded held in Jakarta. She is currently rumoured to have been in serious relationship with director Aditya Chopra. She won several awards like Filmfare, IIFA, Apsara, Anandalok Puraskar, BIG Star Entertainment awards, Star Screen, Star Dust, Zee cine and many other awards, which she consider as her career Achievements.
