John Ortiz is an American actor and artistic director, who is celebrating his 45th Birthday. He is also the co-founder of LAByrinth Theatre Company. John was born on May 23 1968 in Brooklyn, New York, United States. He is of Puerto Rican ancestry and brought up in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn. Until 2010, he lived in the same town with wife and son but and since then, they are residing in California. Film career of this talented actor began in 1993, where he got an opportunity to work in the film, Carlito's Way. He played the young cousin to Al Pacino in his debut film.
