Anu Hassan

Anu Hasan is a well known and famous Tamil actress, model, TV anchor. She made her film debut in the critically acclaimed movie Indira which was held in 1996. She played many predominant supporting roles, her performance was the best and remarkable in many Tamil movies. She is also known as Anuradha Chandrahasan, who was born on 15 July 1970 in Trichy, Tamil Nadu India. Today, she celebrates her 42 Birthday successfully. Currently, she is hosting the celebrity talk show Kofee with Anu on the Tamil, Indian channel Vijay. On the other hand, Hassan is also an entrepreneur, musician and even martial arts expert. She was the daughter of the producer cum lawyer, Chandrahasan. He is the son of an orthodox Srinivasa Iyengar, an affluent land owner of Ramanathapuram District. Chandrahasan is the brother of awesome actor Kamal Hasan. He worked for the British as a lawyer practicing at Madras High Court in the early 1890s. Anu Hassan belongs to Cancer Zodiac sign and her Free Daily Horoscope depicts that, she might feel creative, artistic, and full of ideas for new projects. The BITSians, who were on capmus between 1988 and 1993 memorized Anu in some of the EDC productions which included Fiddler on the Roof and Spartacus. She is also a talented costume designer and singer. Her best mates in the industry are Sukanya and Nirosha. In the recent times, Anu and Nirosha performed a two member skit on female literacy, Anu acting as the educated elder sister and Nirosha as the innocent village younger sister. She is the niece of the versatile Tamil actor Kamal Hassan and a cousin of Suhasini. Anu won the Best Supporting Actress award for her TV role in Anbulla Snehgidhiye, the television serial was adapted from Chitra Banerjee's award winning novel Sister of my heart. She has lent her voice or most of the non Tamil speaking heroines.
