Raghav Sachar

Raghav Sachar is an Indian Singer, song writer, music composer, instrumentalist and musician born on 24th July 1981. He started playing his first instrument “The Harmonica” at the age of four.Raghav belongs to a family of music lovers and his family after knowing his interest in music started to gift him one musical instrument on his every birthday. He won The Best Drummer Award at the Pepsi Cornucopia contest in Delhi in 1994 and he was adjudged the best keyboard player at the BITS pilani festival. His band Canzona formed with some of his friends participated in some music concerts. He then moved to Monash Conservatory of Music, Melbourne Australia in 2000 to study music. He further studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston. USA. During education days he traveled to countries like South East Asia including Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

He gave solo concerts also while visiting India and also worked with singers like Viva and Shubha Mudgal on albums and also recorded some jingles and film soundtrack. He was awarded with Golden Key Award and Earnest Award for academic excellence in 2000 and 2001 at Monash. He plays nearly 32 instruments and his new album is Charming lootera which is a very successful Album in India. His latest collaboration with ZING for his creation in Om Jai Jagdish Hare is a remix and in this album he plays 9 instruments.

Raghav‘s few popular  album  are Raghav For The First Time, 24 Carat, Play It Loud, Charming Lootera and Dil Ki Zubaan and also he has also given some  sound tracks in the films like Kabul Express, Sunday, One Two Three, Haal-e-Dil, Daddy Cool and Bitto Boss.
