Rahul Bose

Rahul Bose was born on 27th July 1967 in Kolkata India. He is a famous Indian actor, screenwriter, director, social activist and a rugby union player. He started his acting with a school play at the age of six. As a child he took interest in sports like boxing, rugby and he also played cricket and was coached by cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. He played in the school rugby team and also won silver medal in boxing. After his mother’s death in 1987 he worked as copy writer at Rediffusion and was promoted to advertising creative director but he left his job to become a full time actor after the release of his first movie English, August. He worked in India’s first English Language television serial, A Mouth ful of sky and co hosted BBC world’s TV Show, Style with Laila Rouass.
