Haylay Atwell

The popular English actress, Haylay Elizabeth Atwell, was born on April 5 1982 and celebrating her Birthday today. She was born in London to parents, Grant Atwell and Allison. Grant is an American from Kansas City with part native American descent and he is a massage therapist. Her mother, Allison, is an English and a motivational speaker. This actress will have a wonderful year ahead on the career and profession front according to her Horoscope. As a result, Haylay has dual citizenship of both the United States and United Kingdom. But the couple got divorced when she was just two years old. Grant went back to America and Haylay remained with her mother in London. Two years of her education, were spent travelling with her father and working for a casting director. Then she started working on a few BBC television productions and starred in her first television miniseries, The Line of Beauty in 2006.

In 2007, she was chosen in Woody Allen's film, Cassandra's Dream, in which she portrayed the role of a stage actress opposite actors, Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell. The next year, Haylay worked in The Duchess and Brideshead Revisited that won her accolades and nominations from the London Film Critics Circle Awards and British Independent Film Awards. This Celebrity, then took part in the play titled, A View from the Bridge and for her performance, she received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination. In 2009, she worked in the miniseries, The Prisoner, as 415 and this was the remake of the 167-68 series of the same name.

In 2011, Haylay portrayed the role of Agent Peggy Carter in the superhero film, Captain America: The First Avenger and the same role was reprised by her in the Captain America video game. She was recognized as on eof the Breakout Starts to Watch for in 2011 by the MTV Networks' NextMovie.com.
