Siddharth Narayan is one of the finest and talented actors that the Indian film industry have today. He is a matured performer who made his debut with Shankar's Boys and today, he is the favorite of many directors who wish to make films with him. Siddharth was born on April 17 1979 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He went to DAV Boys' Senior Secondary School, Chennai and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Delhi. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kirori Mal College, New Delhi, where he was a part of the popular theatre group, The Players, and the president of the college's debating society, which made him to participate in several World Debating Championships. Then he moved to Mumbai and completed his MBA from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research. Because of his exceptional speaking skills, Siddharth Narayan won the CNBC Manager of the year award (1999).

Siddharth's actual dream was film direction and he landed up with the role of assitant director for Mani Ratnam's film, Kammathil Muthamittal. But with the insistence of the film's script writer, he gave auditions and grabbed the lead role of Munna in the film Boys. Post his second film, Aayutha Ezhuthu, he began working in Telugu film industry. This Celebrity delivered several hit Telugu films such as Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, for which he won Filmfare Best Actor Award, and Bommarillu, Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam, Oy!, Oh My Friend and others. He also worked in few Hindi films and was mostly known for his role as Karan Singhania in the blockbuster film, Rang De Basanti.

His next Hindi film was Striker, which was the first film to be released on YouTube on the same day. His recent release is Chashme Baddoor, the remake of the 1981 film of same title and appeared in the film, Midnight's Children. This film opened moderately good and received good collections till now. Siddharth is also a good playback singer, producer and occasionally, he turns screenplay writer. In 2012, he set up his own production house, Etaki Entertainment and under which the film, Love Failure was released.
