Aatef Jenyat

Aatef Jenyat is a famous football player from Syria who celebrates his 29th Birthday today. Previously, he was the member of the Syria National Football Team and now, he is a free agent and can sign with any franchise or club but not under contract to any particular team. He then moved to the Jordan Premier League club Shabab Al Ordon by making a one year deal but that too got dissolved after five months. Later on 25 February 2012. Aatef joined the Iraqi Premier League club Najaf FC. Jenyat's international career started when he was a part of the Syrian Under 19 national team that came fourth in the AFC U-19 Championship in 2004 in Malaysia. In 2005, he was in the Syrian U-20 national team in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in the Netherlands.

These matches were played against Canada and Colombia in the group stage of the FIFA U-20 World Cup and in the round of 16, he played against Brazil. His titles and honours include Syrian Super Cup (2008), AFC Champions League Runner-up (2006), FIFA U-20 World Cup (2005) and Nehru Cup Runner-up (2007).
