Zarine Khan

Zarine Khan is a beautiful and popular actress who has worked in some good Hindi films and today she celebrates her 29th Birthday. She was born on 14 May 1984 into a Muslim family in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is fluent in Hindi, English, Marathi and Urdu languages. Before becoming an actress, she was into modelling. But she never actually had plans of entering into the modelling field. She weighed around 100kgs when she was in school. So, she began losing weight to get into good shape. Eventually, she reached her targeted weight and then tried her luck in modelling. During that period, her family faced a lot of financial troubles and as a result, she was forced to stop her education while in college and started working.



Zarine did a few assignments and with that amount, she run the house. In 2012, Zarine Khan walked the ramp as Showstopper for Jewelry brand YS18 at India International Jewellery Week. She even had a dream of becoming doctor but that didn't worked out. Her career in film acting started when she made a visit to the sets of the film, Yuvvraj. It was Subhash Ghai's film and the set was arranged at his film school, Whistling Woods.



She caught attention of actor Salman Khan, who then casted her for Vijay Gilani's film, Veer. She was then auditioned and had to give a screen test, portraying the role of Princess Yashodhara. She was selected for the film's character and for which, she had to gain weight to be more convincing as a princess of 19th century. The film failed at the box office and Zarine hardly found roles in good films. This Celebrity then did item number Character Dheela in the film, Ready with Salman Khan. Popular director Sajid Khan then offered her role in the multi-starrer film, Housefull 2, which became one of the biggest commercial successes of 2012 and crossed the 100 crore mark.



Her upcoming films include Partner 2, and she has also signed two Tamil films, Karikalan and Naan Rajavaga Pogiren, in which she did an item number. She didn't received any award although, she was nominated for Zee Cine Awards, Best Female Debut. Zarine Khan's Zodiac Sign is Taurus and she is a very sweet, simple and sensitive actress. She is ambitious and believes in doing hard work. Her Horoscope mostly predicts good and positives for the year. Zarine Khan will continue receiving good offers that help in shaping up her career.
