The pretty and talented actress, Trisha Krishnan turns 30 today and celebrates her Birthday with family and friends in her home town. She was born on 4 May 1983 in Chennai and went to Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park and later, joined the Ethiraj College for Women to study Bachelor of Business Administration. She started her career as a model and appeared in several television commercials. She was the winner of Miss Salem beauty pageant and Miss Madras contest in 1999 and won the Miss India 2001 pageant's Beautiful Smile award. Trisha was seen in the popular music video of Falguni Pathak, Meri Chunar Ud Ud Jaye and after which, she was offered a role in a Tamil film, Lesa Lesa by director Priyadarshan and then came Jodi.

But her first release was Mounam Pesiyadhe which was an average success. The movie which actually brought Trisha Krishnan good success is Saamy with actor Vikram, which was a blockbuster hit. She debuted in Malayalam film with Summer in Bethlehem and received positive reviews. Her next release, Enakku 20 Unakku 18 failed although, its music given by A.R. Rehman was well noticed. Trisha is a star in Telugu film industry as well which gave her many superhit films in her career.

The first Telugu film of this Celbrity was Varsham in 2004 that was highly commercially hit and made her popular overnight. For her performance, she was also given the Telugu Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Her next Tamil releases were Ghilli, Aayutha Ezhuthu, Thirupaachi, and Aaru. Trisha's second blockbuster hit in Telugu was Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana that won her Nandi award and other film awards. Her other films in Telugu include Stalin, Sainikudu, Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, Krishna, Bujjigadu, King, Namo Venkatesa, Theenmaar, Bodyguard, and Dammu etc. Trisha also made her Bollywood debut with the film, Khatta Meetha opposite Akshay Kumar and that was an average performer. Apart from acting, she was also the Goodwill Ambassador for the Angel for animals campaign organized by PETA. She is also the brand ambassador of Fanta India, Scooty Pep+, Vivel Di Wills and Fairever Fairness Cream commercials.

Her mother, Uma Krishnan has also appeared along with her in one commercial advertisement. Last year, she lost her father who suffered massive cardiac arrest. She was born under the Taurus Zodiac Sign. She is hard working, confident and knows what she wants in life. At times, she becomes moody and impatient. According to her Horoscope, the year has both positive and negative aspects for the actress. She may get involved in some controversies and some family disputes might also arise.
