Shweta Gulati

Shweta Gulati is a known name on the small screen, who works in Indian television serials and shows and today, she celebrates her 34th Birthday. She was born on 29 May 1979 in Mumbai. She is a commerce graduate, who earlier worked as a marketing executive and in a call centre, before stepping into the entertainment industry. Her career began with an ad that was directed by Ace Admaker, Prahlad Kakkar. After that, she appeared in a number of commercial ads. Shagun, was her first television serial where she portrayed the role of Juhi. Shweta played a variety of roles in different shows like an ill-treated woman in Kyun Hota Hai Pyarr, like a spoilt fashionable rich girl in Remix, and even did a negative character in Amber Dhara. Not only these shows but this Celebrity even became a host to the show, Pardey Ke Peechey on Star Plus.

She always tried new roles rather than sticking to the same and hence, played a grey shaded character in Lipstick on Zee TV. Shweta Gulati was the lead in Remix on Star One, which was one of the first shows on that channel. Tia Ahuja was her character in this show and for which, she even took voice modulation training to suit the character's personality. Shweta Gulati won several positive critical reviews for her performance in Remix as a 16 year old. The chemistry between her and the then debutant actor Karan Wahi in the show was received well by the audience. After Remix, Aek Chahbi..., Mann Mein Hain Vishwas and Durgesh Nandini came up followed by Amber Dhara. She was a part of a sitcom titled, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang on Bindass that showed the battle between a feminist and a chauvinist. She did well as an anchor for the reality dance show, Zara Nachke Dikha alongside actor Karan Singh Grover.

Both then appeared together again in the drama, Dill Mill Gayye. In 2009, she again turned to hosting with Dekh India Dekh, the sixth season of Comedy Circus on Sony Channel. The Red Carpet of the Gold Awards of 2010 was also hosted by her. Shweta did appeared in theatre in plays like KKK...Kiran, and Aastha. Wife Time Trouble is the current show in which she is working.
