George Clooney

The popular American actor, George Timothy Clooney, who is also a film director, producer and screenwriter, is celebrating his 52nd Birthday today. He was born on 6 May, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky to former beauty pageant queen, Nina Bruce and game show host, Nick Clooney. He attended different schools in Kentucky and Ohio and took Broadcast Journalism course in the Northern Kentucky University. He also attended the University of Cincinnati but he did't graduated. Initially, he did several odd jobs like selling men's suits and cutting tobacco but later, he ended up with an opportunity to work in the TV series Centennial in 1978. He never looked back again and went on to appear in series like The Facts of Life, Roseanne, ER, and others.

George Clooney was first offered his major role in the film, From Dusk Till Dawn, followed by One Fine Day, The Peacemaker. Batman & Robin, Out of Sight, and Three Kings etc, of which some were successful while some were failures. But he worked in some good commercially successful films in his career which include The Perfect Storm, Ocean's Eleven, Good Night and Good Luck, Michael Clayton, Up in the Air and the Descendants etc.

There are several awards received by this Celebrity for his wonderful acting performances and his contribution like the American Cinematheque Award, Golden Globe Award for Best Actor, Screen Actors Guild for Best Actor, BAFTA, Academy Award, Broadcast Film, Critics Association, Oscar for his role in Syriana and as a director, he was also nominated for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay Academy Awards. In 2013, he won BAFTA, Golden Globe and Academy Award for producing the film, Argo and became the only person in the Academy Award history for getting nominated in six different categories. The films of Clooney which are set to be released this year include Monuments Men, Gravity, and August: Osage County. George Clooney is humanitarian as per his Taurus Zodiac Sign and he is involved with an organization named, Not On Our Watch Project that works for preventing and stopping mass atrocities and he also supports the gay rights.

George married actress Talia Balsam in 1989 but divorced in 1993. After which, he was in relationship with British model Losa Snowdon for five years, Sarah Larson, Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis and presently he is dating former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler. George Clooney is a confident and considerate person. He is kind, hospitable and charitable. He is ambitious and strives for achieving his goals.
